Calling for objections regarding licensing of a slaughterhouse. MM Altaf has requested permission to start a slaughterhouse at Bowella Road, Alahilleva Watta, Danagama. Therefore, objections are invited from you, the residents of Mawanella Constituency. I am requested to send the objections in writing in two copies to me before February 02, 2024.

Of the two districts of Sabaragamuwa province, Mawanella Divisional Secretariat Division, which belongs to Kegalle District, is the fourth largest among other Divisional Secretariat Divisions and its total land area is 18608.09 hectares. 39 village official domains belong to this division.
As you travel on the Colombo-Nuwara road, you can see the chimney-like rock known as Uthuankanda, which is 1,410 feet above sea level. This rock served as Saradiel’s hiding place two centuries ago.
