Development Division

Physical planning, development of land and buildings in avenues, orderly maintenance, maintenance and control of properties owned by the local council, town planning, development and maintenance of roads, avenues, drains, bridges in conjunction with the Urban Development Authority for buildings constructed within the limits of the local council. Services such as approval, formal planning and implementation of development plans are carried out under this division.

City design

Necessary steps are taken to carry out the construction activities of the city in a planned and orderly manner and building development and subdivision plans are examined and approved under this.

Maintenance of road drains bridges and culverts

The main work done under this service is the development and maintenance of all roads, paths, drains, culverts, bridges and streams in the local council area.

Land and buildings
Under this service, all the lands, buildings, housing schemes, shopping malls, shops, public markets, etc. owned by the local council are developed, maintained and conserved, boundaries settled and safety confirmed.

Orchards and gardens
The main work under this service is the maintenance and control of flower gardens and gardens for the beauty of the local council area.
